Dr Matt Hishon is a specialist dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Hishon graduated medicine from the University of Queensland and later went on to complete a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer), also at the University of Queensland. He is an author of several articles in international, peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr Hishon’s specialist dermatology training was completed across the Princess Alexandra Hospital (Brisbane), The Queensland Institute of Dermatology/Greenslopes Private Hospital (Brisbane), The Prince of Wales Hospital (Sydney), Sydney Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (western Sydney). Dr Hishon also draws on an international perspective having been selected for two international positions during his dermatology training at The National Skin Centre Singapore and Queen’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

Dr Hishon is a visiting consultant dermatologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, involved in the complex biologic psoriasis clinic and combined multi-disciplinary immuno-dermatology clinic. He has a particular interest in the management of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, immunobullous disorders, acne and hyperhidrosis. He is passionate about the early detection and management of skin cancer and performs dermatologic surgery, vascular and ablative laser.
